Loudon County Democratic Women
Our mission is to unite women to promote Democratic Party values and elect Democratic candidates while improving our community through community projects, voter education, and political action

Encourage, within the limits of our Bylaws, qualified women to seek and fill key positions in government, including both public and party offices.

Seek to inform Democratic women of available positions at all levels of government.

Educate women regarding issues on the local, state, and national levels, as well as proposed legislation that impact women and families.

2026 Officers
Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women held their 2026 Convention in Oak Ridge, TN, at the Oak Ridge Convention Center. New officers were elected, and they are as follows:

Dana Moran, East TN Vice President
Gina Sims-Johnson, Middle TN Vice President
Melissa Taber, West TN Vice President
Cary Hammond, Treasurer
Dr. Karen Williams, Recording Secretary
Lee Jones, Corresponding Secretary
At the 2026 convention, the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Army veteran Dana Moran, East TN VP, and Air Force veteran Joan Jacyno, Loudon County. All veterans present came to the front to have their picture taken in front of the American flag and the flags of the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard.
